Where Can I Serve?
Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from soul-winning and visitation, to being a bus worker, singing in the choir, serving in the nursery, and more. There is a place for every person in the Body of Christ. If you would like to get involved, see Pastor or Mrs. Middleton.
Mission Outreach
Calvary Bible Baptist Church supports missionaries in dozens of countries who are spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to those who have never heard. We have a Missions Conference annually that is highlighted by an International Dinner with food from all over the world. Each member is encouraged to daily pray for our missionaries by name and to give financially to help get the Gospel around the world.
Music
Conservative, traditional, God-honoring hymns are a part of every service! Many church members love to get involved in our music program. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Many are involved in the choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.
Children’s Programs
Children are important to Jesus; therefore, children are important here at Calvary Bible Baptist Church. We strive to teach the Bible to children at their age level through the nursery, Sunday School, Junior Church, and various other programs throughout the year. We have a wonderful team of volunteers that make loving Jesus exciting!
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the Gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for the cause of Christ. All of our weekly sermons are available on CD. We also maintain an active Facebook page, where we stream each of our services live.
Marriage Counseling/Retreats
Marriages can be difficult to maintain. Misunderstanding, confusion, resentment, and anger can flare up in any marriage. Pastor Middleton Biblically counsels engaged and married couples. Couples have found fresh hope and new joy in a warm and fulfilling relationship with their spouse with Christ as the center. We have an annual marriage retreat that each married couple is encouraged to attend.
Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Christ Himself said, “…mine house shall be called an house of prayer…” in Isaiah 56:7. Each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study. We also have weekly prayer groups for both men and ladies that everyone is encouraged to attend.
